Nissan enters the full-size SUV field for 2004 with a wagon based on its Titan full-size pickup truck. Armada shares Titan's 5.6-liter V8 and 5-speed automatic transmission. It's slightly larger than the Ford Expedition, but weighs several hundred pounds less. It seats up to eight and its 2nd- and 3rd-row seats fold flush with the floor. The automatic transmission has a tow-haul mode. ABS, antiskid/traction control, and a tire-pressure monitor are standard. Load-leveling rear suspension is standard on LE. Armada's liftgate has separate-opening glass. A power liftgate is an exclusive LE option. The 2nd-row bench is an LE option. Other standard features include power-adjustable brake and accelerator pedals, heated mirrors, running boards, and rear park assist. Options include a navigation system, satellite radio, and rear DVD entertainment.
