The powertrain in the Titan has a large for its class a 5.6L DOHC 32 Valve V-8 that puts out 315 horsepower and 385 ft/lbs of torque (Big Block V-8 levels of torque but with much better mileage than those). The 5.6L V-8 with its 5 Speed Automatic has better than excellent acceleration, passing power, and towing capability.
