In the world of compact sport-utilities, Suzuki is one of the few makes built on a truck-type frame with select-on-the-fly 4-wheel-drive plus low-range for rock crawling. Thus it qualifies as a genuine off-roader. The 2004 Suzuki XL-7 is a "luxury" version of the Grand Vitara, offering optional third-row seating and a standard V-6. It tries to be both country boy and city slicker and for the most part succeeds. This seems to be a super nice SUV. The interior looks great on this - no dummy lights anywhere and four wheel drive works great., , Actual Owner Review: , , "I am now sold on SUZUKI !!" , 2004 Suzuki XL-7 EX III 4WD , 07/18/2004 , By: Mark from West Virginia , Owned: Less than 1 year , Review ID: #438607 , 9.9 Overall rating , , 10 Styling , 9 Performance , 10 Interior , 10 Quality , 10 Recommendation , , Pros: , WE Love IT !! Great ride, 4wheel drive on the fly, transmission is smooth, plenty of cargo space, new red color for 04' , solid frame, euro taillights, good gas mileage for its class, , , Cons: , (No data provided) , , Overall review: , "Very satisfied would by one all over again !! We face tough winters in West Virginia, and I feel the XL-7 is up to the task. Also my insurance rates dropped on this vehicle. Which was a pleasent suprise, from the 2002 hyandai I had before. Insurance said the XL-7 was easier and cheaper to repair, also safer. All Around great buy !!", , Actual Owner Review:, , "Incredible Value" , 2004 Suzuki XL-7 EX III 4WD , 12/29/2003 , By: Tom from Streetsboro, OH , Owned: Less than 1 year , Review ID: #399129 , 9.7 Overall rating , , 9 Styling , 9 Performance , 10 Interior , 10 Quality , 10 Recommendation , , Pros: , The fit and finish of the XL-7 is equal to suv's costing a ton more. The vehicle feels solid and rides excellent due in part to the longer than usual wheelbase. The seats are very supportive and the driving position is very comfortable on long drives. , , Cons: , The 5 speed automatic is a plus, but the XL-7 could stand a 3.0 L engine that would improve the performance and gas mileage. , , Overall review: , "Overall this vehicle is a great car for the money, plenty of space and comfort. My friends all have suv's. Only the Acura MDX rides better, but it cost $20K more!", , , All advertised prices are based on a cash sale only with no tax or title cost included.
