2005 Cadillac CTS. 47,269 miles, Michigan Salvage Title. Equipped as follows: 3.6L V6, automatic, air (cold), tilt, cruise, full power everything, drivers power seat, leather seating, dual compartment electronic climate controls, on star, rear defoger, chrome mag rims, am fm cd stereo, security system, keyless entry, loaded. Condition as follows: This car looks like it took a nose dive into some scrub brush, or even a fence. I replaced both the front engine cradle and radiator with brand new parts, and replaced the air conditioning condensor with a good used one. Had the cooling system, and air conditioning system filled and recharged. So now if needed the car is fully driveable. This is a pretty easy fix at this point. Cosmetic damage as follows. You need to replace the front bumper cover and both lower marker lamp assemblies in the cover. Replace the left front fender and plastic inner fender well. The lower grill has a 1 1/2 inch scratch in the painted finish of it, the front of the hood has some cosmetic paint scratches in it, both of the front head light assemblies have scratches in them, the nose of the right front fender has some very minor damage, and a couple of again cosmetic paint scratches in it. The windshield washer jug is in the trunk, appears to be twisted up, so plan on replacing it. The windshield is broken, the left windshield post has a small ding and some again cosmetic paint scratches in it as well. Nothing on the roof got touched. From the doors back the rest of the car is darn near perfect. There is a 3 inch scratch in the middle of the left rear door, and a 1 inch scratch in the upper middle rear bumper cover. Lastly on the outside there is a small dent/dimple on the upper front left rear quarter panel behind the left rear door glass. The rims on the car appear to be aftermarket. They all look nice and are chrome. The tires on the car a weak, the rears are worse. The interior is mint, with good air bags, just the windshield rear view mirror is popped off the swivel ball joint (pop back on and fix?). The car runs perfect, with cold air, and is actually still driveable. The only issue is sometimes that the car will not crank over and start (it is like the security system is locking it out). It does not do this all the time, and we just put a jumper wire in the relay center to bypass the starter relay if it acts up. Overall a very clean car and easy fix with great miles on it.
