The 5.7L "HEMI" V-8 engine was rated at 340 horsepower and carries a 390 ft/lbs of torque and the engine has a Multi Displacement feature that under a light load will switch to a 4 cylinder mode and under heavy acceleration will go back into full V-8 mode. This feature helps save fuel to where its impressive for the size of the engine! The Magnum wagon is also available in SXT trim which has the 3.5L V6 engine and then there is the base model with a smaller 2.7L engine.
