2006 Mercury Milan Premier. 4,685 actual miles, Michigan salvage title. 3.0L V6 engine, automatic, air, tilt, cruise, full power everything, drivers power seat, dual heated leather seating, power sunroof, fog lamps, rear defoger, alloy rims, am fm cd stereo with 6 cd changer, security system, keyless entry, loaded. This car took a hit in the left front, not real hard. It pretty much needs a complete front clip minus the following. The right front headlamp assembly is good, both front bumper fog lamps are good, all the front under structure looks good with maybe just a little bit of straightning needed on the left front lower rail. The air cleaner box assembly is good, both plastic inner fender wells are also good. You pretty much need the rest of the clip including the radiator support and coolers. I have in the trunk of the car the left plastic inner fender well with nuts, bolts, radiator hoses, a couple of A/C lines, that all appear to be good. The windshield is broken. From the doors back the body is darn near perfect except for a small scratch in the paint just above the left rear tire on that quarter panel (brush touch up). The right lower rocker panel mid way below the right front door has a dimple/dent in it, and there is a very small dent in the lower right front of the right front door (probably all from the recovery people). The interior is like new except that you need to replace just the drivers front air bag. Both front carpeted floor mats are missing. I have two sets of keys with remotes for this car. Now for the nitty gritty. The car runs rough, and will not run for more than a few seconds. I have put over $1,500 into this car in hidden problems that I did not know about when I purchased it. I replaced the plastic intake manifold, motor mounts, and transmission mount with all new OEM parts. I replaced the air flow sensor, air cleaner box assembly, and computer with OEM used. I was told the original OEM computer was bad, which is why I replaced it. I do not believe it was bad, so the car comes with two computers. I had the second one programmed for the car, and it ran no different than originally. Everything that was done was done by professional people (I do not use hacks). I have to draw the line in how much money I put into a repairable vehicle. Do not ask me what the proble is as I do not know. The car cranks over nicelly, but runs like garbage, and will not stay running. It may be a cam timing issue? or a computer electronic issue?. I at this point am done, and will not make any money on this car. It is truely a nice loaded up car with only 4,685 actual miles on it. New this car was well over the 20K mark, and still books out for 18K today. I have an additional 38 pictures of this car I can email somebody upon request.
