The 2007 Nissan Altima, refreshed for the new year, is a four-door five-passenger family sedan. Their trim levels are diverse, from sporty to fuel-efficient. The base and the S model have a 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine that produces 175 horsepower, with the SE and the SL fitted with a 3.5 liter V6 that ups the horsepower to 250. The sportiest version is the SE-R, with a 3.5 liter V6 that puts out 260 horsepower, and comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission with the optional five-speed automatic.
