Review The perfect size car for city driving, FUN to drive, beautiful high quality interior, very comfortable sport seats, great customer service from my dealer & absolutely no reliability or repair issues. The hatchback & fold- down seats are very convenient. I have driven this car since new for almost 4 years now. It is the longest I have ever kept a car & it's one of my favorites. I have owned German, American, English & Japanese brands. In more affluent times, I have owned 2 Mercedes SL's & 5 BMW's. The Japanese are known for reliability, but the Germans win hands down for superior engineering & driving fun. I am shocked how much I continue to enjoy this GTI Favorite Features sport seats, flat bottom sport steering wheel with controls, DSG transmission, satellite radio, adjustable armrest on center console, one touch 3 blink indicator, lots of storage space, high quality interior. Review After owning SUVs, sports cars, economy cars, this is THE best all-around car that combines features of each of the above-listed automobiles. Fuel economy is excellent when compared to the performance. Sure you can get 40 mgg in a prius but the drive is boring, I'll take the 31-34 mpg in a fun-to-drive GTI any day. I've owned the car for 2.5 years and have had absolutely no problems with it, besides a small rattle in the rear drivers-side door panel that the dealership was able to fix at no charge. I usually get bored with cars after a year or two but this GTI is the only car I've owned that I am seriously considering buying after my lease is up. Favorite Features STEERING WHEEL! The build quality is amazing! The GTI is really the poor-man's BMW. The performance and handling are amazing.
