Like every other special-edition Vette in recent years, this is really only a trim package with a unique color—in this case, Crystal Red Tintcoat—and wheels., , To the hood on the Z06, already reminiscent of the “stinger” hood on the 1967 Corvette Sting Ray 427, the 427 Limited Edition adds a black stripe and “427” badges meant to mimic the old Vette. Other exterior modifications include unique wheels, a body-color spoiler (instead of the standard Z06’s black one), and body-color trim on the door handles., , All Limited Edition Z06s come with the 3LZ Preferred Equipment package—the new-for-2008 dressier interior—in a special dark titanium color.
