The 2008 Chrysler Sebring adds a redesigned convertible to join the sedan that was all-new for 2007. For the first time, the Sebring Convertible offers three different top options: a black vinyl top standard on base and Touring, a cloth top available on Touring and standard on Limited, and a steel body-color retractable hard top available for Touring or Limited. The Sebring Convertible Limited is powered by a 235-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 with a 6-speed automatic transmission and is rated at 16 mpg city and 26 mpg highway based on 2008 EPA standards. The Touring is powered by a 189-horsepower 2.7-liter V6 and rated at 18 mpg city, 26 mpg highway. Also new for the 2008 is the Sebring Limited all-wheel-drive sedan, powered by the 3.5-liter V6 engine, with the six-speed transmission and standard Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with traction control.
