2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Unknown

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the original 1968 Shelby 500GT KR (King of the Road) Shelby revealed the 2008 model at the 2007 New York International Auto Show. The car was released in the spring of 2008. SVT and Shelby announced that 1 000 40th Anniversary Editions would be built. Our car is number 663. The car is powered by a 540 Horsepower 5.4-Liter Supercharged V8 with 510 Lb./ft. of  Torque a Functional Cold Air Intake Pro-Cal Performance Calibration a Short-Throw Tremec TR6060 6-Speed Manual Transmission 3.73 Limited Slip Rear Axle and H-Pipe Exhaust System. The Suspension is sourced from Ford Racing and has been super tuned by Shelby with Unique Performance Spring Rates Dampers Stabilizer Bars and Strut Tower Braces. The KR also sports Highly Polished 18 Alcoa Forged Aluminum Wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar Tires developed specifically for the KR and identified by a single small ldquo;Winged Foot emblem on the sidewall.
