The Traverse is the new addition in the rapidlyexpanding mid size crossover market, the 2009 Chevrolet Traverse is thelatest SUV built on GM's Lambda platform. It will join the BuickEnclave, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook, but the Traverse will bedifferentiated by bold new styling Chevy has introduced within the lastfew years. Outside, the Traverse has a profile similar to Buick's Enclave, whileincorporating several of the current Chevy Malibu's styling cues intothe overall design scheme. In the cabin, Chevy's new crossover offers arefined and well-organized environment, with seating for seven or eightpassengers distributed through three rows of seats.
