The 2010 Ford F-150 adds the SVT Raptor, a high-performance off-road truck that is seven inches wider than a standard F-150 and distinguished by a bold grille with Ford name, front bumper, vented hood, fender extractors with SVT badges and distinctive marker lights that highlight that the SVT Raptor is seven inches wider than other F-150s. Powered by a 310-horsepower 5.4-liter Triton V8 with an all-new 6.2-liter V8 available later, the F-150 Raptor features internal bypass shocks by Fox Racing Shox for a smooth ride wider suspension for off-road stability and extensive suspension travel. Design elements from the exterior are carried through on dash and center console, and the black leather-wrapped steering wheel includes a molten-orange stripe at the top to indicate when the wheel is centered. The F-150 Platinum adds additional standard equipment including ambient lighting, power sliding rear window with defroster, Sony 6-disc in-dash CD changer, satin chrome grille with fine mesh inserts, 10-way power adjustable leather seats with tuxedo stitching and embroidered logos, heated front and rear seats, satin gloss Lacrosse Ash wood trim, brushed aluminum trim and 20-inch 16-spoke polished aluminum wheels.
