The seventh generation Maxima (it’s hard to believe it started life as a Datsun 810 in 1981) is a tour de force for Nissan. Here is a vehicle that lives up to its accolades and is a credit to the Nissan design department as well as engineering! From every angle, our 2011 Maxima is stunning and curvaceous. From behind the wheel, its road manners are exemplary. When you kick in the power, it emits a quiet growl and becomes a street racer par excellence. Physically, the design is very aggressive, with wide swoops in the hood, nicely integrated headlamps and taillamps, wide arches over the wheels that give the impression of a Porsche when viewed through the rearview mirror, and a rear taillamp design that is unlike any other. Inside, the cockpit hits the nail on the head with an excellent instrument panel, sensible audio system, fit and finish, and modern technology features. It spoils you with comfortable seating and a host of amenities to make the ride more enjoyable for driver and passengers alike. The rear seats offer excellent room. Nissan advertises the Maxima as a five-passenger sedan, no worries about cramped accommodations for those who are along for the ride. On the highway, or suburban roads, the engine is quiet and confident. Punch the accelerator and it roars into life, offering excellent acceleration, The 3.5L V6 under the hood and tuned for our Maxima is the same V6 Nissan uses in the Z cars. This thing has all of the extras you deserve and then some! heated leather seating, 2 sunroofs, navigation, alloy rims, rear spoiler, projector beam head lights and much more. If you are looking for a sedan but don’t want to sacrifice sporty performance, there really is no better option than a Maxima. At our price point, this 2011 deserves your serious consideration.
