2012 Mazda CX-9 3.5

The 2012 Mazda CX-9 sees no major changes. This crossover seats up to 7 and shares some elements of its basic design with the Ford Edge. Trim levels include Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring, each of which is offered with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The sole powertrain pairs a 273-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity is 3,500 pounds. Safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain-side airbags, and front-side airbags. Blind-spot alert is standard on the Grand Touring but not available otherwise. Tri-zone climate control and a wireless cell-phone link are standard on all models. Leather upholstery and heated front seats are standard on the Touring and Grand Touring. A power liftgate, navigation system, and rearview camera are optional on the Touring and Grand Touring.
