De Tomaso Modena SpA - in past was carmaker. Founded in 1959 by racing driver Alejandro de Tomaso (Alejandro de Tomaso, 1928-2003), who escaped from the Argentine dictator Juan Domingo Peron. The factory was founded in Modena. Machine had great success in 1960- 1970's. The most famous model Vallelunga (sample 1963) Mangusta (1966) and Pantera (1970). Between 1976-1993 the company belonged to the Italian brand Maserati. Since 2004, the company is in receivership.
